We're falling apart a little bit with playgroup, but it seems like everyone has been a little busier lately. We're just going to get together to visit and let the kids play tomorrow at the church building. Please join us if you need a break!

We're heading to the park!

If you would like to join us, we will be at the park in the Los Arbolitos subdivision. It is very simple to find if you don't already know the location. From Thomas, you will head south onto 105th Ave into the main entrance of the subdivision, the park is on 105th Ave just a few blocks south of Thomas. We will have all sorts of play dough colors to play with and there will be lots of fun to be had; so don't miss out! Please bring any cookie cutters, rolling pins, etc. you don't mind sharing for the day. If you don't have any don't worry, we will share with ya. ;) But, don't forget to wear your "play clothes" because we might get a little messy.

A Clean Paint Job

We usually meet in the nursery-- it's big enough to accommodate us and the kids can play with some of the toys if they want to. Please pass along the information to other moms in the ward. We don't want to leave anyone out who would enjoy it!

I was also thinking that we could start sharing Family Home Evening ideas while we are visiting. I know I have a tough time finding ways to teach lessons to Savannah sometimes. I'm sure we all have a few great ideas up our sleeves. See you on Wednesday!

I am so sorry. I reallly thought I posted about the splash park like Monday night but it has somehow gone missing. I even added a link to the previous post about the splash park. If anyone gets this before 10am Wednesday that is what is going on and when. HERE is the link to the previous post if you need directions to Goodyear Park.

Sorry. Nothing too exciting. Just meeting at the Park in Camelback Ranch for play group again.

Next week I was thinking the Splash Park. It is supposed to be in the upper 90s by then so hopoefully the water and the kids will be warmer. If you have any better ideas PLEASE let me know.

Splish Splash

Bring your swimsuits, towels and sunblock... (mom's I would be prepared to get a little wet too!)

The Splash pad at Goodyear Park will be up and running as of the 15th of April.

On Wednesday April 16th, we are meeting at the park at 10:15am. It is a little later than usual to make sure it is warm enough for our little ones to get WET!. It should be a lot of fun.

The park is located at 3151 N. Litchfield Road in Goodyear, Arizona. It is between Indian School and Thomas on the East side on Litchfield. You can turn east into the park at Avalon Dr. (which I think only goes west)

The Trees

We are headed to the ZOO! DaNell has a few free passes that expire soon so we are going to the zoo.

Wednesday March 5th, 2008. We are meeting at 9:30am at the church to carpool/caravan.

Please let me know by Monday if you plan on going. There are a limited number of free passes for the adults, so the cost of anyone who comes in excess of the freebies will be shared by everyone.

Kids under 3 are Free. 3-12 are $6.

It really depends on how many people show up how much it will cost but it should be less than $10 no matter what.

Sun and Sand

Just a few pictures of the kids having fun at the park today.

the sand was a bit of an issue once it became airborn but they had fun together none the less!

so we are venturing to the park. it is located just east of 109th & Mariposa. Down the street from the Goodsell's and around the corner from the Lensch's and the Mosley's.

I love to see the Temple

We are forgoing a "playgroup" activity and going to participate in an enrichment "field trip" to the Mesa, Temple Visitors center. There is a new art exhibit and a video that is about 30 minutes long.

On Wednesday Feb. 20th we are meeting at the church to carpool at 10am

Afterwards we are having lunch at Pioneer Park. Bring a side to share and a drink for your self and children, the Relief Society is providing the Sandwich.

Bring the little ones and enjoy a trip to the temple.

mmm COOKIES!

Valentine's Day is coming so we are going to decorate cookies at the Goodsell's Home.

Since it is SO cold. Our intentions of meeting at a park won't be realized.

This Wednesday the 6th we will be meeting at the Garden Lakes Building at 9:30am

We would like to have a "theme" or a little bit more of a focused activity each week so Please come with ideas or preferences for future activities.

We are thinking of doing something related to Valentines Day next week on the 13th.

Getting Organized.

Danell and I sat down and decided we needed to get organized with our play group so we decided to make a blog that we can update so everyone knows what is going on. We are going to do some fun stuff every Wednesday morning. We are going to start out fresh the first week in February so check back the week before and we will have the details for our planned activity.
